There will be a warm up tournament on Friday 12/2/11 @ 8PM for those of you coming in for the weekend. Snape's Karaoke will be there Friday night also

Saturday's Tournament is a $20 Entry Fee or $10 Entry Eee & $10 Toy

OK folks it is that time again! Last year because of you guys, we raised $10,000 for the kids on Christmas morning. Never in a million years did I expect to raise that kind of money. I am very grateful to each and every one of you that did your part in helping me help so many unfortunate kids. As you all know this event is really important to me, so that the kids can wake up with something under the tree. I do realize we are still in the same state with the economy, but a $10 toy, or donation is not that much when you think of the happiness it will bring for a child that otherwise would wake up to nothing Christmas morning.
I have attached the photo's and when you click on them it will take you to a link to download them and send in a donation if you choose. I would LOVE to see you come out to the tournament if you can, or try to organize one for your area! If you have any questions let me know. Thanks everybody for being kind enough to help me in what is such an important cause to me and less fortunate kids!It would be completely awesome if we could hit the $10,000 goal again.

My 2nd Annual Toys for Tots Tournament

I am super stoked we are arriving at that time of year again soon. I will be holding my 2nd Toys for Tots Tournament and I want this one to be BIGGER and BETTER then last year! Being last year was my first go around at it, I did not realize all the planning it took to get it organized and running with the results I had hoped for. So, I vowed this year to try and double last years $1500.00 worth of toys. This event is really important to me, so that the kids can wake up with something under the tree. I know the economy is horrible, but a $10 toy, or donation is not that much when you think of the happiness it will bring for a child that otherwise would wake up to nothing Christmas morning. I have attached the photo's and when you click on them it will take you to a link to download them and send in a donation if you choose. I would LOVE to see you come out to the tournament if you can, or try to organize one for your area! If you have any questions let me know. Thanks everybody for being kind enough to help me in what is such an important cause to me and less fortunate kids!

Well I have to say that this year was the toughest I have played in all the years I have been going to the Bullshooter. They have split our division off to AA and only paid out Top 4. To have to play the caliber of AA shooters and only paying out Top 4 places in REALLY hard to make any money. Everyone played extremely well in AA and if you missed, you paid for it with a loss.

Thursday night was Monsters of the Midway and I played with Scott Kirchner, Isen Veljic, and Shawn Dycus. We took 1st place and went undefeated. All the guys played really well!

Friday was the Top Gun events. When playing in Top Gun events there is no losers bracket, so you either play REALLY well, or your done. Top Gun Singles and I was playing extremely well. I played some great players and ended up losing in the 5th game to Brad Wethington and we both shot some SUPER darts, our averages were 7 marks per round. Top Gun Triples we lost in the 2nd round to Ray Carver and his team and they went on to win the event. Friday my buddy Scott Kirchner won the Top Gun Singles for the 1st time, so I was really happy for him!

Saturday morning I played with Scott Kirchner in the 501 doubles and I have to say he shot extremely well all weekend. We lost in the losers bracket to my Thursday teammate Isen Veljic and his partner for the doubles Bob Adamson. Bob hit 6 perfect darts to win the game 180 in the first shot and then took out 158 to win the game. I am sure had the payouts not been changed this year we would of been in the money and if not real close to money. Saturday evening was PRO A/AA LOD. I do not agree with this event. I think with all the changes it should of been a AA LOD only. I did however have a good shot named Lee. Man we shot some good darts. I mean how often can you average 7 marks a round a lose a game? Some super shooting all weekend by everyone.

Sunday was a PRO AA only LOD (our only event of the day).....I happened to draw Darin Young in this event. We started out horribly and lost in the 1st round. We came all the way back from the losers bracket and played Scott Kirchner and Bob Hudzik in the finals. We lost in the 1st 3 out of 5 in the 5th game. My buddy Scott and Bob both shot some SUPER darts!!

Monday was Singles 01 and I lost to Taro Yachi in the 1st round and then lost to Eguchi Yuji in the losers bracket. They are from Tripleight also and I have to say you want to talk about some good darts. Japan threw some AWESOME darts this weekend. They knocked out some great players in both the doubles and the singles events. They also won the International Team Event this year.
Monday afternoon was PRO AA cricket doubles and Scott Kirchner and I went undefeated in the winners side. Ray Carver and Darin Young came back to through the losers and we went all 6 games with them before they defeated us in the 3rd game of the 2nd set. I wanted to win this with Scott for the 1st time and it was a hard loss, but we will be back and we will win!

All and all it was a good weekend. I shot really well and I am super happy for my buddy Scott and how he shot all weekend. Congrats to Ray and Darin for a good weekend also.

Now its off to Boston for the North American Championship and then Bolton for the Blue Square Open Finals in the UK. The next 2 months is going to be super busy for me. Good luck to everyone and shoot well

PDC-Coventry Players Championship/UK Qualifier

Well I am headed home for 2 days and then off to Holland for the weekend. There are 2 Players Championships I need to attend. I fly home for a few days after Holland and then back to the UK for 10 days for more Players Championships/UK Qualifiers. The weekend was a success, although I am not happy at all with the way I played in the 3rd round today. I missed too many shots at doubles to give him the advantage and then the confidence to win the match. However, I am accomplishing what I need to over here and thats my main goal.

Also, Larry Butler has been in for the entire month of March and I am pleased to say did extremely well over the weekend! Good job Larry

Well I played well this weekend. I should of won in the 3rd round Saturday, but Steve Hine shot extremely well with a 12 darter in the final leg to win. Sunday looks worse the it was. I shot some good darts, it just wasn't my day. I decided to stay over for the next event instead of flying back and forth. Scott and myself will be attending the Premier League on Thursday, so I am pretty stoked about getting to watch that.

I played well down the board, but had some issues with hitting the doubles. I lost to Dennis Preistley in the first round Saturday and he ended up winning the event and Sunday I lost to Jelle Klaasen in the first round. Hopefully next weekend I can hit some doubles! I was sicker then I thought.... I was up till 5 AM and had to be up at 8 to get ready to play. Although the darts felt good I was not prepared to play and the kid I shot Mike Smith shot extremely well and deserved the win. Here is another example of the level of play over here. He is only 18 years old and is a great player already at such a young age.

So, it is 3 AM and I am up again. I plan on doing much better today then yesterday though. I don't know how well this flying back and forth for 8 weeks is going to work. I think I am going to have to stay to get used to the time change

I am about to board the plane for my 1st of 8 weekends in a row to the UK. I am a bit sick, but I am looking forward to getting back over there and playing well. There are a few American's attending this and the next few events also, like Larry Butler, Gary Mawson, Chris White and David Fatum. Come on USA!!!!! I will keep you up to date on whats going on. Well it was a VERY long day yesterday, but here is what took place....

We had a good turn out and some really GREAT people showed up. Thank you all for coming and your help with promoting the sport of darts. Please remember people, be appreciative of what others are trying to do and thank them for promoting the sport. Everyone works really hard to give the players somewhere to go and do what they love to do, whether it be at a major tournament, or your local bar. I know we all get tired on the long days, but ALWAYS remember its JUST a game and have fun!

So, we sold some 50/50 tickets in the beginning to help raise money for the Parkhill Youth Dart League. I am very pleased to announce we raised $180 during those sales. I would like to thank Mike Kutz for donating back a portion of his winnings. I happened to win the 2nd 50/50 of $90 and donated the entire amount back. Remember folks these kids are the future of our sport!

Also, our triples pot got up to $210 per dart during the night. I am thrilled to post it has been hit for the 2nd time and a SUPER gentlemen that I had the honor of meeting for the first time hit 2 out of the 3 triples, winning $420. Ed Bennett won this pot and was kind and generous enough to donate back $120 to the Park Hill Youth Dart League. What a great guy and thank you Ed for being such a great person! Overall we raised $300 for the kids!

I would really like to thank Jamie Dombrowski and Jennifer Weikel for taking the time to sell the 50/50's and doing such a great job anytime we have sales to benefit someone. Thank you to all of you for helping with these important causes!

So, I get a lot of emails monthly from my website for different reasons... Advice, people wanting darts, kids with questions, people thanking me for different things and etc.But, sometimes I get some that mean alot to me and I am copying this last one I received on to you.

I had a guy stationed in Iraq ask me if I could send his troop some darts and a dart board. Well, since my new sponsor has not quite got the design down I want with the new darts, I emailed Patrick at Halex (my old sponsor) and asked him to help me out. He responded with "Of course I will do it John, no problem at all" and sent over a case of my darts and 2 dart boards to them from me.. I owe Patrick big time for doing this, because it was really important to me. I'm honored to be able to help them in anyway while they are over..

There are 4 events being held the week that I am here... Two singles August 2nd and August 3rd. The William Cross Pro AM Men's running August 8th-9th and the Australian Open PDC event on August 10th

Since I am seeded for the event on Aug 8th-9th and did not have to qualify, they asked us to play on a team event. Myself, Scott Kirchner, Dave Honey, and Robert Thornton are playing other International teams all week to keep warm until the weekend.

Well...... I played James Wade for the 3rd time in 3 weeks and I lost in the first round against him the Players Championship

Sunday was the Blue Square Qualifier and I ended up top 32 out of 240 guys. I should of advanced after the 4th round, but I screwed up some doubles.. Thats the way it goes I guess. Practice Practice Practice.. I am off again in November to play in Holland at 2 Players Championships and then the World Championship Qualifier November 16th.

John Kuczynski: Biography

John Kuczynski was ranked number one in the American Darts Organization’s (ADO) points standings in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. He played at the 2005 BDO World Darts Championship, losing in the first round to former world champion Ted Hankey. He was the ADO’s 2006 National cricket champion (an alternative darts scoring system). In 2005, he reached the last 32 at the Las Vegas Desert Classic and was a finalist at the Quebec Open and a member of the U.S. World Cup Team.

Johnny K played in the 2006 PDC World Darts Championship, whitewashing Lionel Sams in the first round without dropping a single leg. He then went on to beat Dutchman Jan van der Rassel in the second round before losing to Gary Welding in the last 16. Kuczynski had won the first set and could have taken the second before Welding leveled. The American went back in front to lead 2-1, but Welding fought back to take the next three sets and a quarter final place to end Kuczynski's run.

At the 2006 World Series of Darts where the prize for an American winner was $1 million, Kuczynski was the only American player who managed to progress beyond the opening round. He returned to Purfleet for the 2007 World Championship but was beaten in the first round 1-3 by Mark Dudbridge. He reached the third round of the 2008 US Open, beating Vincent van der Voort and Canadian Daniel Beauregard in the first two round before losing to Ben Burton. The next day he reached the quarter-finals of the North American Darts Championship.
